Ylan’s Adaptation

It’s been raining since the other day. Then again, I really can’t complain that much, i always have an umbrella with me anyway. I went to Sto. Nino Church earlier to pay homage and to light candles like what i usually do. It’s raining but still the church is jampacked. Nevertheless, the crowd is under control. Lots of security personnel manning the area and visible signs for exit/entrance. Instead of frowning and be dismayed by the unfavorable weather, Cebuanos embrace it and continue to show their devotion. Just another great way to avoid using wrinkle removers later right? But i hope the rain will stop (even at least just for the weekend) so that people could enjoy so much of the grand mardi gras. I do however believe that rain or shine, the Sinulog festival is here to take place. Viva Pit Senyor! Viva Cebuanos!
